With sincerity and hard work of our proficient, we have carved a niche for ourselves by offering the best quality Three Phase Transformers. These transformers are enormously used for generating, transmitting and distributing the electrical power. In compliance with the industry standards, these transformers are manufactured by utilizing quality approved materials. We are offering these Three Phase Transformers in numerous specific options at nominal prices.
Long service life
When we talk about transformers, the concept of connections is something which is to be given ample importance. One has to connect them in both connect them to single- and 3-phase power sources as well as single- and 3-phase loads. Why is this point crucial? Because one wrong wiring, and BAM, the whole machine can get damages, and let’s not forget the jeopardy caused to the life of man.
Single-phase power, single voltage
In such cases, there are two conductors. The hot conductor and the ground conductor are to be connected in order to gain a single voltage.
The same concept is applied in the Single-phase power, dual voltage systems, which are also known as (3-wire Edison system). The only difference is instead of one, there are two hot conductors which are attached to gain full voltage. Also, in such cases, the union of a hot conductor with a grounded neutral provides lower power.
Three-phase power, single voltage
Consisting of triple conductors, the union of all three provides a three-phase voltage system.
Three-phase power, dual voltage
This 4-wire, 3-phase system is a combination of three hot conductors along with a single grounded neutral conductor. Once all three hot systems are adjoined, one gains a three-phase power. On the other hand, unifiying triple hot instruments with a neutral one allows you to gain lower, single phase electricity..
Joining single-phase transformers
Supported by one or two high-voltage terminals, the primary connections should be connected between a hot and neutral conductor in order to obtain a single phase terminal. On the other hand, make sure you join two hot conductors to attain dual high-powered terminals.
Secondary connections on the other hand support three to four terminals which provide both half and full power loads. In the case of triple systems, the middle one is generally a grounded neutral. When we talk about four terminals, one has two short the windings jointly, after which the half and full powered electricity is obtained.
Importance of sizing-In order to size such equipments, one needs to calculate three points, voltage, current, and power. It is extremely important to calculate the "turns ratio," primary voltage, and total load. The electricity passing through the transformer is partially more than the amount leaving the same.
Construction of a Three-Phase Transformer
The building of a three-phase transformer consists of two methods, each of which have been explained below-
Core type constructional
In this case, the core which is fabricated with thin laminated sheets, comprises of three legs, which aids in eddy flux losses. The limbs are harnessed with primary and secondary windings which have a cylindrical structure and are placed in a concentric manner.
Shell type construction
The shell type construction on the other hand consists of three individual core types, each of which has an individual circuit which is magnetic in nature. The built of such three-phase transformers similar to the one mentioned above, with a slight difference whering the shell type systems are kept on top of each other.
